The summer dance festival in the Berkshires, Jacob’s Pillow,  has released this splendid video of some of the dance companies that visited the festival this summer, short reminders of the finales of very different performances.

Endings serves as a lesson, if one were needed, without words, of the extraordinary diversity of dance, of how many ways there are to express emotion in movement.
As they say, “The final moments of a dance can resonate with an audience long after the curtain closes, especially if the dance has been documented on film or video.”
