10 years ago, 2 opera lives were lost

On March 24, 2015, we reported the crash of a Germanwings flight in which two opera singers – Maria Radner and Oleg Bryjak – lost their lives. They were among 150 victims of the disaster, for which the co-pilot was held responsible.

Pause whatever you are doing and hold a moment to remember Maria and Oleg, who were flying home from singing in the final performance of a Barcelona’s production of Wagner’s Siegfried. Maria’s husband and her baby died with her.
