Solti violinist leaves Chicago

The first Asian woman to play in the Chicago Symphony, Joyce Noh retired this week after 46 seasons.

Born in South Korea, Noh started her orchestral career in the Seoul Philharmonic, moving onto the Baltimore Symphony for two years before winning an audition at the Chicago Symphony under the leadership of Sir Georg Solti.
