Maestro, 98, turns up for work

The indefatigable Herbert Blomstedt conducted Bruckner’s 9th symphony last night in Copenhagen.

Danish Radio’s symphony orchestra say: ‘Yesterday we had the great honor of having 98 year old Herbert Blomstedt on the podium. With his calmness, wisdom and musical clarity, he created another concert experience that we will never forget.’
