Cracks appear in the Voices Foundation

Cracks appear in the Voices Foundation

We hear that CEO Manvinder Rattan left the music education charity last week and a statement is expected shortly on the VF’s future.

The charity’s accounts show it overspent its £430,000 annual revenue by £53,000.

The Voices Foundation, founded by Suzi Digby in 1993, works with teachers and schools to support children’s singing skills and wellbeing through accessible and inclusive singing programmes.

Insiders say VF was always a small-staffed, frugal operation. It grew considerably under Rattan (pictured) and all office staff have now departed.

Schools have been unable to obtain confirmation of activities in the coming school year.

Clarity is urgently required.
