The death has been recorded in Richmond, California, of Douglass Fake, who produced some 700 albums of movie music on his label, Intrada.
Among his exhumations were the uncut score of Leonard Bernstein’s On the Waterfront, Miklos Rozsa’s Ivanhoe, John Williams’ Jaws and Jerry Goldsmith’s Alien.
