Eminent violinist hands over Strad to rising pupil

Eminent violinist hands over Strad to rising pupil

The outstanding British-Hungarian violinist György Pauk has owned and played the Massart Strad of 1714 almost all his musical life.

He hates to see it idle so, he tells us, ‘I have decided that I want that this great fiddle should be heard again hence I have loaned it to Julia Pusker’.

Hungarian born, Pusker studied at the Royal College of Music and is now based in Berlin.
