Concours de Genève Singing Competition

 Slippedisc, courtesy of OperaVision is off to Switzerland for a live stream first  of the finals of  of the  Concours de Genève Singing Competition.    The last but not least in the series of October competitions, the Geneva Competition has been running for more than 80 years of existence, revealing prestigious talents such as Victoria de los Angeles, José van Dam and Marina Viotti. This evening, three finalists sing three opera arias each accompanied by the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande conducted by Alevtina Ioffe, followed by the prize-giving ceremony.

The finalists are Jungrae Noah Kim, Barbara Skora and Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh
