President calls time on troubled US chamber orchestra

President calls time on troubled US chamber orchestra

The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra’s president and managing director Jon Limbacher has given notice he will retire a year from now. Limbacher, 62, will have led the group for nine years.

Six months ago, Kyu-Young Kim resigned as artistic director, apparently over Limbacher’s plans to reduce the concert season.

A small cloud has become a big one.
