President calls time on troubled US chamber orchestra

The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra’s president and managing director Jon Limbacher has given notice he will retire a year from now. Limbacher, 62, will have led the group for nine years.

Six months ago, Kyu-Young Kim resigned as artistic director, apparently over Limbacher’s plans to reduce the concert season.

A small cloud has become a big one.
