Netanyahu dodges court to attend Mahler concert

The Israeli prime minister is using all manner of excuses to avoid appearing in court tomorrow to face questioning in his long-running corruption trial.

Among his excuses are the situation in Syria, accelerated negotiations with Hamas, ceasefire breaches in Lebanon and, sources are saying … his urgent need to attend a concert of Mahler’s ninth symphony with the Israeli Philharmonic, conducted by Kirill Petrenko, of whom he is a great admirer.
