Munich debut for Downton Abbey composer

The Munich Radio Orchestra is performing the Downton Abbey soundtrack tomorrow at 7 pm in concert and on stream.

The piano soloist is John Lunn, the Scottish composer who wrote the series’ background music.

Never having watched more than half a Covid episode of Downton, I am staggered by its fame. Yesterday, in a supermarket aisle, I saw two of its actors being congratulated by a fellow-shopper.
