A Schoenberg home is lost in the LA fires

Larry Schoenberg, the composer’s son, has lost his Pacific Palisades home in the Los Angeles firestorm – in addition to the family’s publishing business, Belmont Music.

Larry, who is 83, is a retired high school mathemantics teacher.

The composer’s former Brentwood home is presently safe. The original manuscripts andartefacts were traneferred to the Arnold Scoenberg Centre in Vienna around the turn of this century.
