Works by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky were played at the first symphonic concert since the fall of the Assad regime. The conductor was the Syrian-Armenian Missak Baghboudarian.
In the audience was health minister Maher al-Sharaa, brother of interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa.
