The BBC’s classical radio station has continued its recovery with a 10% increase year-on-year, today’s Rajar ratings show.
Radio 3 reached 1.95m in the last quarter of 2024. A further 150,000 listeners joined its new Radio 3 Unwind digital stream.
Classic FM stopped its longterm decline with a slight increase from 4.42 million to 4.5m.
The station has also added two offshoots – Classic FM Calm and Classic FM Movies – reaching 238,000 and 154,000 listeners respectively.
