Irish opera drops CEO

The Board of Wexford Festival Trust has announced Randall Shannon’s term as Executive Director of Wexford Festival Opera will end when his contract finishes this week.

He has been in the job four years and his departure looks rather abrupt.

Loughlin Deegan will be joining Wexford Festival Opera immeiatelt as Interim Executive Director until the end of the year, working alongside Artistic Director Rosetta Cucchi.
