This clip needs no introduction. Perhaps the most incongruous pairing ever captured on video, a love duet between Rudolf Nureyev and Miss Piggy singing Baby It’s Cold Outside.

Nureyev doesn’t need to pantomime discomfort, he clearly is as uncomfortable as it was possible for him to be, and all the more hilarious for that.

In these dark times all I can think to do is to enjoy what is worthwhile and beautiful and genuinely funny in our world.
