Two US orchestra CEOs quit

Orchestra Lumos – formerly the Stamford Symphony – is losing its President and CEO at the end of this year. Russell Jones, formerly head of the Association  of British Orchestras, says he wants ‘to explore the next chapter of my career.’

Also on the move is Amy Ginsburg, CEO of the Southwest Florida Symphony for the past nine years. Her plan is to focus ‘on her family and new creative endeavors’.

In other news, Christopher Hahn is stepping down as general director of Pittsburgh Opera.
