Ousted Barbican chief lands new job

The Barbican Centre’s last CEO, Claire Spencer, left in the dead of August after just 18 months amid loud whispers that she had been bullied out of the job by City of London bosses. Not a word leaked out to an uninquisitive media.

So it’s nice to report that Claire has landed back home as Executive Drector of Australian Ballet, alongside artistic director David Hallberg who has been renewed until 2030.
