The classical festival that pays in Bitcoin

The classical festival that pays in Bitcoin

The violinist Linus Roth, artistic director of Festival Ibiza Conciertos, is keen to avoid the irritation of paying by cash or card.

He says: ‘Ibiza has always been a hub of innovation and creativity, exactly what this festival strives to be. Accepting Bitcoin for tickets payments and offering it as payment to our artists is a natural extension of that spirit. It’s venturesome, it’s forward-thinking, and it mirrors the essence of Ibiza—a place where boundaries are redefined.’
