Trouble in Toronto as deputy disappears

Trouble in Toronto as deputy disappears

There’s room at the top of Canadian Opera Company. Look at the admin board and you’ll find that COC Deputy General Director Christie Darville has been erased.

No word from anyone.

Darville has been with the company since 2011 and was promoted in February 2020 to deputy DG. Sources are syaing her departure is ‘sudden and unexpected’.

Her boss, general director David C. Ferguson, is a retired banke.
