But another London hall is struggling

The recently opened Bechstein Hall has told subscribers: ‘We regret to inform you that the Bechstein Trio Concert at Bechstein Hall on 2nd April 2025 has been cancelled.’ Another scheduled event has disappeared, then reappeared.

Bechstein Hall is telling the industry privately that ‘the format will be changing going forward’. The hall opened last October.

We have sought clarification from its director, Terence Lewis, but received no reply.
