Scot’s music wins Swedish Grammy

Scot’s music wins Swedish Grammy

A recording of piano music by the esoteric Scotsman Ronald Stevenson was last night awarded Classical Record of the Year at Grammis 2025, the Swedish record industry’s annual bash.

The recording, on the Finnish label Ondine, was performed by the Swedish pianist Peter Jablonski.

Stevenson, who died ten years ago today, is barely known beyond his native land. (I wonder if Scots media will pick this up).
