The Cleveland Orchestra has added three batons to its pack as music director Franz Welser-Möst prepares to step down in 2027.

Taichi Fukumura joins immediately as assistant conductor, James Feddeck as principal conductor of the youth orchestra, and Tyler Taylor as Composer Fellow.
