Buz news: German pianist, 18, gets signed

Tanja Dorn will personally manage the young German pianist Colin Pütz, who her agency signed this week.

Colin Pütz, born 2007, has a close relationship with conductor Cristian Măcelaru, who booked him at WDR for Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto when he was just 14, then again at Orchestre National de Radio France. In 2022, Pütz performed Mozart’s K467 with the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra in Bucharest. A year later, he played in Timișoara with the Banatul Philharmonic Orchestra. This was followed in March 2024 by Mozart’s K491 with the Dresden Philharmonic.
