The death has been announced of Albert Llanas Rich, a leading Catalan composer whose work was performed by international orchestras. Albert was 67.

Sequences for Orchestra , which won the City of Barcelona Prize, is a fascinating dialogue between Venice in Vivaldi’s time and Barcelona in his own.
