Luisi is conducting five nights running at La Scala

Luisi is conducting five nights running at La Scala

The Italian conductor Fabio Luisi happens to be in Milan, conducting the first performances of Bellini’s Norma in almost half a century.

In comes news that Tugan Sokhiev has pulled out of three performances of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, in between two Normas.

No problem. Luisi will conduct those as well.
