The librarian that Trump sacked is back in work

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has given a one-year post to former Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden, sacked by Donald Trump for being excessively radical.

She will be a senior fellow with responsibilitites on advising how to advance public knowledge through libraries and archives.

‘Together, we will work to strengthen the public knowledge ecosystem and ensure that the transformative power of information remains accessible to all,’ said Hayden.
