Ohio Police have arrested a former concertmaster of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra in connection with the alleged rape of a child between the years 2008 and 2019, starting when she was six years old.
He is being held in jail pending a court appearance.
The suspect is Odin Rathnam, 61. He was concertmaster in Harrisburg, Pa, from 1991 to 2012. The orchestra says: ‘We will do everything we can to cooperate fully should we be contacted by law enforcement as part of their investigation.’
Rathnam, who is US born, faces 30 criminal counts.
There has been no statement from his legal team.
