After Pierre Audi, Aix appoints interim head

Four days after the sudden death of its artistic director, the Aix-en-Provence Festival has called in its former chief.

Bernard Foccroulle has been appointed advisor for the 2025 edition of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

Foccroulle, 71, directed the Festival from 2007 to 2018. A Belgian concert organist and composer, he was previously director of  the Monnaie in Brussels.
