We’re thrilled to share that Professor Ayana Smith has been appointed Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Research, and Creative Activity, effective June 16.
A leading voice in musicology, her work explores Italian baroque opera, visual culture, and African American music. In her recent book, “Inclusive Music Histories: Leading Change through Research and Pedagogy,” she shares tools and insights to help educators build more cohesive music classrooms…
