An opera magazine returns from the dead

An opera magazine returns from the dead

We’re excited to report that the relentlessly serious opera-buff bible Avant-Scène Opéra will resume publication in November after being shut down by its previous owner in February.

Jules Cavalié, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, says: ‘I am delighted to be returning Avant-Scène Opéra to its readers and to the lyric art world, with the same spirit of erudition and high standards that have always been its hallmarks, with the same curiosity and mission to tirelessly share the taste for opera and cultivate its passion. Together, let us once again explore opera, its imaginations and its emotions!’
