Another false start for NY City Opera?

City Opera believers have shown more fiather in the resurrection than most Christians, always to be disappointed. Here is the latest PR spin:

New York City Opera has an 80-year legacy of bringing affordable, innovative opera programming to the NYC public. The group will relaunch in 2025 under the direction of Constantine Orbelian.

Their first concert under his watch will be Music of Survival : A celebration of survival and perseverance told through the universal language of music at Carnegie Hall on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 8:00 PM.

Concert details here. No sign yet of a staged opera.
