BBC Radio 3 hits 10-year high

BBC Radio 3 hits 10-year high

Independent Rajar monitoring figures, out today, show that the classical music station achieved 2.15m listeners in the past three months, the highest Q1 reach for at least ten years.

The relexation stream, BBC Unwind, added 150,000 to the statistics, but the increase was generally across the board. Highlights included a whole day of Pierre Boulez on his centennial birthday, and live broadcasts from Auschwitz on the 80th anniversary of its liberation.
