Biz news: Askonas lose rising baton

The American condcutor James Gaffigan has dumped AskonasHolt as his main agency, transferring his general management to New York boutique Primo Artists.

Gaffigan, 45, is music director of Komische Oper Berlin and of Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia.

Primo, which had been handling his US careeer, now has his worldwide representation.
