Biz news: IMG grabs trophy mezzo from HP

The faltering mega-agency has upped its morale with the capture of US mezzo J’nai Bridges from HarrisonParrott.

Bridges, unconventionally, suggest her last agency was not pulling its weight:

‘Joining IMG is a remarkable moment which I have long awaited. I am excited to have a partnership that will not only provide support, but will also amplify my work and bring the best out of my artistry. Joining IMG Artists is more than a career move- it’s a step into an extraordinary future filled with limitless possibilities paralleled with continuing the legacy of the countless artists who inspire me on and offstage. Cheers to an exhilarating new chapter!’

‘So much great news today! I am excited to not only open Rigoletto tonight at The Metropolitan Opera, but also pleased to join the esteemed management company IMG Artists Vocal! God is GREAT!’

IMG says: ‘IMG Artists is delighted to welcome the two-time Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges to our roster for general management! Ms. Bridges is represented by Executive Vice President and Global Head of Vocal Matthew Horner, Managing Director of IMG Artists Americas and Head of Vocal Booking Romana Jaroff and Senior Assistant Artist Manager Noah Sesling from the New York office.’
