When Yunchan Lim won the Van Cliburn Competition in 2022, the world knew nothing about him except that he was South Korean. He only had one teacher back home. His name was Minsoo Sohn and he was equally unkown.
Yunchan is now one of the most sought-after pianists on the circuit. Today, Yunchan’s agent at IMG Artists, Federico Benigni, signed his teacher Minsoo Sohn.
The two pianists are presently appearing together in a Korea tour.
