We are informed that Oliver Aldort, assistant principal cello of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, won the May 6 audition for 1st principal cello at the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra.
Oliver has played in the Boston Symphony since 2015. He is also principal cello of the Boston Pops.
