CBSO fails to communicate

CBSO fails to communicate

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has just completed a well-received tour of Japan.

Not a word has appeared on the orchestra’s website, where the news section has not been updated since May 1.

The only clip on Facebook is the music director giving a little wave.

This is poor practice. The first places supporters turn is to an organisation’s website and its Facebook page.

But the people running the CBSO have let them lie fallow for two months.

This orchestra and these musicians deserve better.
