Cellist nets 100 grand

The Swiss Grand Prix for music has been awarded to the Argentine cellist Sol Gabetta.

The cash prize is worth 100,000 Swiss francs. That’s US $109,372.00.

Gabetta, 43, lives in Switzerland in Switzerland and teaches cello at the Basel Music Academy.
