Concertmaster takes charge of festival

Concertmaster takes charge of festival

A festival in Australia has appointed the concertmaster of the nearest orchestra to be its next director.

She is Kate Suthers of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. The event is the Coriole Music Festival, which has been running since the turn of the century.

Kate used to play in the Royal Philharmonic and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
