The French conductor Francois-Xavier Roth, who has been having a quiet time after sending personal pictures to orchestra players, has been forced to delay his comeback by an unfortunate accident.

Due to a broken shoulder, Francois Xavier Roth has unfortunately had to cancel his conducting engagements at the Baden-Baden Whitsun Festival (May 31 to June 9, 2025). The Festspielhaus and SWR are responding by redesigning the opening day (May 31), which was tailored to the conductor’s needs, and are rescheduling the concert for Whit Monday, June 9, 2025, at 5 p.m.
