Director of music is banned for life for boy touching

The long-serving head of music at Bishop’s Stortford College in Hertfordshire has been banned for life from teaching after a tribunal found him guilty of touching boys for sexual gratification.

Andrew Bruce, 64, taught at the school from 1986 to 2018, when the issue was first raised.

The incidents occurred on overseas trips. The tribunal noted that Bruce showed no remorse for his actions.
