Exclusive: Apple parts company with classical label chief

Exclusive: Apple parts company with classical label chief

We hear the BIS founder, Robert von Bahr, is no longer working with Apple, which bought his company, BIS, 18 months ago. Robert’s company email has been deleted and he is not responding to messages.

We contacted Apple and received this response: ‘Apple can confirm that Robert von Bahr has left.’

BIS was founded in Stockholm in 1973. Robert is now 81.

A year ago, Robert von Bahr told an interviewer that he ‘views retirement as a post-mortem condition.’

No successor has been named.

BIS poor.
