German theatre names orchestra for Israeli composer

The Augsburg State Theatre in Bavaria has founded a Paul Ben-Haim Orchestra Academy to train future musicians.

Ben-Haim, born in Munich as Paul Frankenburger and assistant to Bruno Walter, migrated to Tel Aviv in 1933 as a result of Nazi persecution. He became the founding composer of the unborn state of Israel.
