Hilary Hahn is unwell

The US violinist has cancelled next month’s European tour with the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra and conductor Thierry Fischer.

She will be replaced by Roman Simovic, leader of the London Symphony Orchestra, in the Ginastera Concerto and Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie, and by Daniel Lazokovich in the third Saint-Saens concerto.

Wishing Hilary a swift recovery.
