Israeli singer is paint-bombed in Warsaw concert

The classical and crossover singer David D’Or was attacked during a concert in Warsaw by a woman who threw red paint and shouted ‘Free Palestine.’

D’Or, 59, comes from a family of Jewish refugees from Libya.

He said: ‘The girls in the orchestra were very scared, all their fancy dresses were filled with paint stains that looked like blood. I hope better days will come.’

In 2004, he represented Israel at Eurovision, in Istanbul.
