Just in: Apple chart is topped by influencer

It comes as something of a surprise to find the Frenhc violinist Esther Abrami at #1 on this week’s Apple Classical streaming chart, published exclusively on slippedisc.

Abrami’s name does not appear much on the world’s concert circuit. She has placed her career in the hands of an influencers agency. Try it if you dare.

Here’s the chart:

1 Women Esther Abrami

2 Field: Complete Nocturnes Alice Sara Ott

3 Sleep Max Richter

4 Mozart: Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra Berliner Philharmoniker, Alan Gilbert, Wenzel Fuchs

5 Liszt: Via Crucis & Solo Piano works Leif Ove Andsnes

6. Shostakovich: The Cello Concertos Yo-Yo Ma, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Andris Nelsons

7. J. S. Bach: Mass in B Minor Raphaël Pichon, Pygmalion
