Just in: US dance festival shuts down after fatal accident

America’s oldest dance festival has just been called off after a staffer was killed last week while moving stage gear.

The victim was named as production manager Kat Sirico.

Among the events cancelled are performances by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and choreographer Faye Driscoll.
