Lincoln Center names offbeat Artist-in-Residence

While the Kennedy Center is busy cancelling gay events, its New York equivalewnt has named the stage and costume designer Clint Ramos as its artist in residence.

Ramos, self-described as ‘designer, educator, activist and creative producer’, was was born and raised in Cebu in the Philippines and ‘lives in New York with his husband and daughter’.

He has been engaged as costume designer for the Met’s 2026 production of Tristan und Isolde.
