The Finns plan next season to premiere an opera of Karl Ove Knausgård’s autobiographical series of novels, Min Kamp, which runs to 3,500 pages and is presently stopping many household doors.
The Norwegian is described as the literary sensation of the last decade. The opera has been composed by the Finn Sebastian Fagerlund and will be sung in Swedish. Sounds like a fun evening.
